The 1-2-3 CameraCrank Process

1. DISCUSSION Your CameraCrank experience begins with a conversation with J. followed by a questionnaire, as you work together to determine what environment, activity, date, clothing, etc. would be most suitable for your specific shoot.

2. PHOTOGRAPHY The day of the shoot you will meet at the agreed-upon spot for a relaxing and fun session that should last somewhere between 30-60 minutes, excluding set up. Maybe we'll play some music, maybe we'll just enjoy the sounds of nature and the click of the camera – whatever best suits you. 

3. RESULTS Within a few days, J. will have gone through the photos and posted the best ones to an online gallery for you to consider. You can then order prints directly from J., or download the files to print yourself. Yes – you get the digital files without extra hassle or expense.

1. WHAT MAKES CAMERACRANK DIFFERENT FROM OTHER PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHERS? The ABOUT YOU & ME page explains this best; but in short, we strive to capture a character-focused portrait of the REAL you in the REAL WORLD, not a highly-glossy version of yourself that will tell future generations absolutely nothing about who you really are. The result is an image that's truly "worth 1000 words" (at least). Our PEOPLE PAGE has several examples for you to review.

2. WHEN IS THE IDEAL TIME TO TAKE A PORTRAIT? Whenever you find yourself in a place that deserves remembering. Maybe you've just reached a milestone age. Maybe you've achieved something great in the community, or at work. Maybe you've survived a battle with illness. Maybe your child or pet is at a particularly wonderful age, and you want it captured forever. Whenever an important moment has arrived – that's the time.

3. DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH EVENTS? Yes, although we are not traditional wedding, bar mitzvah, etc. photographers. Having a stationary photo booth where everyone is photographed in front of the same background is very much the opposite of what we like to do. We specialize in corporate and community events that require more news-style coverage, but with a bit of a creative twist. Several of the photos on our PEOPLE PAGE are examples from events we've covered in the past.

4. DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH KIDS AND ANIMALS? Of course, and we have the necessary patience and experience.

5. HOW ABOUT SPORTS TEAMS AND BUSINESSES? Absolutely.

6. DO I GET TO KEEP THE DIGITAL FILES? Yes. Your session includes both high-resolution JPG images for prints, and low-resolution images more suitable to social media. If you desire another format (TIF, PNG, etc.) you need only ask.

7. WHAT AREAS DO YOU COVER? While based in West Broward County, we can travel as far as Miami or Palm Beach – or beyond. It's really all about what's required for a specific job.
